Our high school students in Ms. Oliver’s Integrated Science class got hands-on with science on Wednesday as they completed a fun and engaging Toothpickase Activity!
Through this interactive activity, students explored the concepts of enzymes and reaction rates, gaining a better understanding of how enzymes work and how different factors can affect the rate of a reaction.
By putting their scientific knowledge into action, students had the opportunity to investigate, experiment, think critically, and learn through hands-on discovery!

🦅 SBMHS JUNIORS EXPLORE AMERICAN HISTORY! 🦅
On Friday, October 23, 2026, 20 juniors from Scott’s Branch Middle High School had the exciting opportunity to visit the Freedom 250 Bus on the campus of Manning High School!
📚 During this educational experience, students explored the creation of the United States and the events leading up to the end of the Revolutionary War. They also learned important historical facts about other wars and significant events throughout our nation’s history.
✍️ Students participated in interactive learning activities, including signing the Declaration of Independence and completing a Citizenship Test, providing a hands-on opportunity to connect with our nation’s founding principles and the responsibilities of citizenship.
We are proud of our Eagles for taking advantage of this meaningful learning experience! Experiences like this help bring history to life while inspiring students to become informed, engaged, and responsible citizens. 💙💛
