Clarendon County Adult Education is proud to kick off Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, September 15–19, 2025!
We were honored to receive a proclamation signed by Governor Henry McMaster recognizing the importance of adult education across our state.
Our director, Dr. Lara Kolb, continues to advocate on Capitol Hill to ensure that adult education programs remain federally funded and accessible for all. 💪
Adult education opens doors—helping learners gain skills, explore career pathways, and advance through postsecondary education and training. 🌟

The COABE National Conference in Dallas was outstanding! CCAE won 2 National awards, and its Director presented with her colleagues to over 300 people about the 3 R's of adult education--Rigor, Retention and Relationships. South Carolina showed up and showed out!
