Congratulations to the Manning High School Chapter winners of FBLA who participated in this week's FBLA State Leadership Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Dawson Palmer won first place in Sports and Entertainment Management, and Jalen Benbow placed third in Website Coding and Development. Both students will represent South Carolina at the national conference this summer. Honorable mention goes to Jalayshia Hilton and Amani Ferrell. They will participate in the FBLA open competitive events at the FBLA National Conference in Orlando, Florida.
Our Monarch Olympics was a blast! An entire school activity with 10 people teams to play disc golf, dodgeball, relay races, flag football, and many other games. There were 4 food trucks with a great variety of food.

During the MHS' Career Cafe, Mrs. Graham/Cosmetology and Mr. Griffin/Building & Construction from FEDCC and USC-Sumter Reps were speaking with interested students during lunch today. Nevaeh Garland won a big prize by guessing how many hair rollers were in the bin - 120! Congratulations Nevaeh!
Congratulations to the Manning High School Symphonic Band! They traveled to West Ashley High School to participate in the South Carolina Band Directors Association Concert Performance Assessment! The band received a SUPERIOR rating! This is Manning’s first SUPERIOR rating at CPA since 2000! The ensemble received straight 1’s for their stage performance! Congratulations to our students and Mr. Jordan Jefferson, our band director, for a stellar performance!
