Thursday night MPS staff hosted parents and students for "Report Card Pick Up" and "October Fest Family Night". Parents were able to conference with their students' teachers and visited stations set up throughout the building. A special thanks for all the parents and families for their support and partnership in educating our students.
Reminder the Book Fair will be open on Monday, October 16th.

The last day of school before Fall break, the cheerleaders and their coach, Dr. Brooker had a great recess after the Staff vs. Students 2 for 2 basketball game.
Today, MPS' students went to a Fire Safety Presentation and Fire Truck Tour given by our firefighters, Mr. Pompey and Mr. Cartledge. Our students had so many questions because of their interest in this class.

This morning students, staff, families and district office personnel participated in walk / bike to school day. Thank you to all the families and district office personnel who came to join us on our walk. Special thanks to the Manning Police Department for ensuring our safety around the block!

Intersession is a time for students and staff to relax and reset. We encourage our students to continue reading over the break and participate in brain break exercises, including stretches 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏽, physical activity 🚴🏼♀️, and journaling📔. Intersession begins on Wednesday, 10/4. Students return on Monday, 10/9.
