Manning High School’s Jazz Band Achieves Unprecedented Success at Jazz Performance Assessment
Manning, SC – The Manning High School community is thrilled to announce that the Manning High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Dr. Jefferson, has received a SUPERIOR RATING at the recent South Carolina Band Directors Association Jazz Performance Assessment. This remarkable achievement comes with the distinction of earning a perfect score for their performance!
The Jazz Band’s performance was a testament to their hard work, dedication, and musical talent, captivating both the audience and the judges alike. Notably, band members Madilyn Gibson and William Gibson were honored as the best soloists, showcasing their exceptional skill and artistry.
“This outstanding achievement speaks volumes about the commitment and passion of our students,” said Dr. Jefferson. “I am incredibly proud of their performance and the energy they brought to the stage.”
