Clarendon County School District Announces 2026-2027 Teachers of the Year
Clarendon County, SC – The Clarendon County School District is proud to announce the selection of its Teachers of the Year for the 2026 academic year. This esteemed recognition celebrates the hard work, dedication, and exceptional contributions of our educators, who are instrumental in shaping the future of our students and the community.
This year’s honorees are:
- Adrianna Lee – Walker Gamble Elementary School
- Takelia Hammett – Dr. Rose H. Wilder Elementary School
- Shameika Hilton – Manning Elementary School
- Quinten Kelly – Manning Junior High School
- Jennifer Mongold – Manning Early Childhood Center
- Jennifer Hunt – East Clarendon Middle/High School
- Ashley Davis – Scott’s Branch Middle/High School
- Anita Hatfield – Manning High School
- Erica Wallace – F. E. DuBose Career Center
Dr. Shawn Johnson, Superintendent of Clarendon County School District, stated, “We are incredibly proud of our Teachers of the Year. Their passion for education, commitment to student success, and unwavering support for their fellow educators exemplify the core values of our district. They inspire not only their students but also their colleagues and the entire community."
The Teachers of the Year were chosen based on their exemplary instructional practices, their dedication to student achievement, and their contributions to the school environment. These educators consistently go above and beyond to create engaging and nurturing classrooms, fostering a love for learning among their students.
Campus Teachers of the Year will apply for District Teacher of the Year this month. The district will honor these outstanding educators during the 2026-2027 Opening Convocation in July.
