Clarendon County School District Announces 2026–2027 District Teacher of the Year
Mr. Quinten Kelly Recognized as Clarendon County School District's Highest Teaching Honor Recipient
MANNING, S.C. — Clarendon County School District is proud to announce Mr. Quinten Kelly, mathematics and science instructor at Manning Junior High School, as the 2026–2027 Clarendon County School District Teacher of the Year.
Mr. Kelly was selected from an outstanding group of campus Teachers of the Year for his commitment to academic excellence, innovative instruction, and unwavering dedication to student success. Through engaging, data-driven teaching, he fosters critical thinking, high achievement, and a classroom culture where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.
"Mr. Kelly exemplifies the very best of our profession," said Superintendent Dr. Shawn L. Johnson. "His passion for teaching, commitment to excellence, and dedication to helping every student succeed make him truly deserving of this honor. We are proud to have him represent Clarendon County School District."
As District Teacher of the Year, Mr. Kelly will serve as an ambassador for the district, representing Clarendon County School District throughout the coming year while promoting excellence in education.

Every child can grow when rigor is paired with real support and real relationships.” stated Mr. Kelly. “Education is a people business. My goal is to share what works with educators across South Carolina and with everyone in our village who touches a child's life."
