Mrs. Cindy’s GT students researched brain safety, concussions, and the evolution of football helmets. Students then designed and created helmets with different shock absorbing materials to protect an egg (the brain) from at least a 1 foot drop.

Congratulations to our cross country runners on a great showing during the Region VII-AA Meet!


This week students received a refresher lesson on tutor.com. Tutor.com is provided free of charge to our students through SC Discus. Students spoke with live tutors and received help with geometry, algebra, and Spanish. Some students made appointments with their tutors for help after school as well.

Congratulations to our volleyball team on their 1st round playoff victory vs Woodland. They will travel to North Central on Tuesday in the 2nd Round of the playoffs. Gametime is 6:00 PM.

It’s that time of the year! Students have completed 4 after school EOC prep sessions for U.S. History in Ms. Carly Green's class. We encourage all students to participate & take part in getting prepared for the EOC.



Mrs. Charlotte Driggers' art students are creating digital art using Google Drawings to create mountain landscapes, beach scenes, Halloween pumpkins and monsters.





Mrs. Hope’s 7th grade math class worked on a matching puzzle activity to solve equations with integers.








Ms. Deon Jones’ English IV students study the development of characters and themes in William Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet.

Our Math 180 students are playing Over and Out learning how to reason with decimals. Math can be so much fun! ✖️➗➕➖
