Today, we dressed as our favorite book characters and joined in a fun Book Character Parade and Trunk or Treat celebration! It was a great way to wrap up the week - promoting reading, imagination, and positive choices while celebrating a drug-free lifestyle!

The title of the experiment was Savor the Flavor! The students had the opportunity to slowly enjoy and appreciate the full taste of sweet, fruity, flavorful gum. They also learned to incorporate the scientific method to carry out an experiment. Students worked in groups to form a testable question, researched what they know about gum flavors, created a hypothesis, recorded their data, and observations, analyzed their results, and conclusions.Ms. C. Britt is doing an excellent and exceptional dob.
SAVOR THE FLAVOR!
Reviewing the scientific method has never been so fun! Scholars were able to put the scientific method into play experimenting with the different flavors of gum. The testable question was does the type of brand affects how long the flavor lasts. The scholars had the opportunity to slowly enjoy and appreciate the full taste of sweet, fruity, flavorful gum. They also learned how to use the scientific method to carry out an experiment.
Working in groups, scholars
developed a testable question, researched what they knew about gum flavors, created a hypothesis, recorded their data and observations, analyzed their results, and drew conclusions.
