A monstrous monarch shoutout to Coach Taylor Holiday for transforming the gym into a festive wonderland! Even though we cancelled the light show due to the weather, our students still got to walk through and enjoy the amazing scenery. Thank you for making the magic happen!

Good Evening Parents,
As we prepare for our final descent into WE MADE IT TO WINTER BREAK, we have just 1.5 days left in our flight. This is your friendly co-pilot and favorite Assistant Principal with a few important reminders. ✈️
We are scheduled to arrive on time on Friday, December 19th at 11:10 AM, so please make arrangements to be available to receive your passengers promptly.
Unfortunately, due to unexpected turbulence including anticipated gusty winds and rain, the Drive Thru Light Show scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, December 18th, has been cancelled.
Save the Children afterschool students will dismiss at 5:00 PM tomorrow.
Cookie Dough has been delivered and will need to be picked up by Friday December 19th.
Feel free to move about the cabin as long as the seatbelt sign is not on. Parents please continue to remind students of school expectations as we complete our final descent into WE MADE IT TO WINTER BREAK.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a smooth landing into Winter Break!

We’re disappointed to share that due to inclement weather in the forecast, Thursday night's Light Show has been cancelled. Thank you for your support and we look forward to lighting up the night with you soon. Please know that your generous contributions will not go to waste. We will begin storing everything for next year. Your support truly means so much to us and we appreciate you! To those who were kind enough to allow us to borrow Christmas decorations, please feel free to stop by the school between tomorrow and Friday to retrieve your items. Again, thank you for your generosity and support.
Regretfully,

THE ONE LOVE PROJECT
In the spirit of the holidays, Manning Elementary School would like to send support to Jamaica to help those affected by Hurricane Melissa. This cause is especially near and dear to our hearts as one of our very own faculty members has family who has been greatly impacted by this devastation. When one hurt we all hurt, but together, we can make a difference because we are UNIFIED AS ONE!
We have identified the following items to send in hopes of offering meaningful relief. These items include:
* Rice
* Flour
* Sugar
* Cornmeal (GOYA)
* Evaporated Milk
* Dry Cereal
* Tuna
* Corned Beef
* Sweet Corn
If you would like to partner with us and contribute to this cause, please bring or send all donations to Manning Elementary School by December 19, 2025!
Thank you for giving generously during this season of kindness and compassion. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.
