Congratulations to our Top Sales winners who sold the most cookie dough to raise MES Funds. Top Sales Class - Ms. Hilton - 5th grade who wins a class treat party. MES students and parents showed up and showed out for our community service project for October! We held our Socktober and collected socks for the residents of Pocotaligo Rehabilitation Center! In total, we collected 433 pairs of socks!!! Congratulations to Ms. Hilton's fifth-grade class, who brought in the MOST pairs of socks!!

South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation brought Ag in the classroom to our 3rd-grade students!! In this lesson, the students learned about the importance of honeybees to agriculture and how honey is not the only benefit of honeybees. The students engaged in an interactive lesson using the Nearpod interactive platform. They completed a hands-on lab making honey slime while learning standard 3-LS1-1: Develop and use models to describe how organisms change in predictable patterns during their unique and diverse life cycles. They also identified seed types, played charades, matched cards from memory and rode a tractor in virtual reality!
