📌 2-Hour Delay – Wednesday, February 4th Manning High School will operate on a 2-hour delayed start on Wednesday, February 4th. Please review the adjusted bell schedule attached for updated class times. Students should arrive and report to class according to the delayed schedule.

Manning High School will be enhancing security measures on our campus. Beginning this week, a trained agent from a reputable security company will be present to assist with monitoring and screening individuals entering the school through the front entrance during the school day. Security personnel will oversee the use of metal detectors for all individuals (students and visitors) entering the building. In instances where an individual is unable to pass through the metal detectors without triggering an alarm, book bags or purses may be searched in accordance with established safety protocols. In addition, we will enhance security measures for all individuals entering the campus by verifying and documenting all visitors by requesting positive identification at the circulation desk. As a result of this added measure, all visitors — including parents or guardians signing students out — will be required to present a valid state-issued photo identification upon entry. The safety and security of our campus is always a top priority, and these measures are being implemented to ensure a safe learning environment for all students, staff, and visitors.
