🏐The MHS Wellness Team held a beach volleyball and marshmallow tree race competition between students. The Marching Golden Pride raised money for their Memorial Day 2024 parade trip to DC via concession stand sales.
Members of the Golden Pride Marching Band and concert band performed at Unity Christian Church in Alcolu! What a pleasure it was to help usher in the sounds of the season for their congregation! Troop 2359 Girl Scouts Giving: Socks for Seniors Community Project at Clarendon Council on Aging. This troop is a team of young ladies from MPS, MES, MJHS, and MHS. Their Troop Leader is LaTisha Crews, Academic Interventionist at Manning High School.

The Barrineau Christmas Parade was a blast last Saturday! The Golden Pride brought the sounds of the season to Summerton all the way from Manning!
MHS Band Director Jordan Jefferson and MJHS Band Director Terea Scott and their Music Departments presented Monarch Christmas at Weldon Auditorium. Over 200+ Guests were treated to special performances by MJHS' Concert Band, then MHS' Monarch Chorus, Symphonic Band, Monarch Connection Jazz Band, finishing with MHS Symphonic Band. This music made our lives merry and bright during the holiday season. Dr. Kelvin Lemon spoke to the audience commending Mr. Jordan Jefferson, Ms. Terea Scott & the MJHS and MHS students for their wonderful entertainment last night.
MHS and MJHS' Festive Monarch Christmas concert brought inspirational joy to so many families in Clarendon County last night at Weldon Auditorium.
