
Mrs. Holcombe's students won three awards in one day! Raet James won the girl's Drinking Water contest, the class won the Multiplication Math bowl, and also the Food drive by donating 185+ non-perishable food items for the community. Way to go Team!!

Mrs. Ann teaches her students different projects every day, but today is National STEM Day, which shines a spotlight on the critical need to improve Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Education.










Mrs. Moyes' artists are entering in the Clarendon County Recreation Department's 2023 Christmas Card Art Contest, where the 1st Prize is a ribbon, $25 gift certificate, framed copy of the original and 10 copies for their own use. Best of luck to all our creative students!
The contest is for 1st grade - 5th grade and entries must be in by November 16th.

On November 6th through 16th, Manning Primary will be collecting canned food and non-perishable items to help those in need.

Today was the first save-the-date, Painting with P.R.I.D.E. with Mrs. Moye. Students used their "PAW-SOME" tickets, "Punch Cards" or Class Dojo Points" earned for positive behaviors to sign up to paint. We are so proud of these students for showing P.R.I.D.E by being prepared, being respectful, showing integrity, being disciplined, and being engaged!








Today our third graders participated in our first Reading Bowl. We are so proud of all our students for trying their best and showing good sportsmanship during and after each round. Students please continue to practice your sight words every day! Congratulations 🎉 to our Reading Bowl Champions, Mr. Reed's class!

Members of the Manning Rotary Club and the Delta Kappa Gamma distributed dictionaries to third grade students at Manning Primary School this morning. MPS would like to thank both organizations for supporting our students!











During the month of October, students in the library participated in Ms. Davis' Candy Corn Estimation Challenge. There were 400 pieces of candy corn in our estimation jar. First place winners with the exact estimation were: Faith Wells, Keyona Kennedy, and Cherish Conyers. Second place winner was Janylah Canty. Third place winner was Abby Felipe. Congratulations girls!!
