Today our young ladies had the privilege to attend the Princess Day seminar, where they imparted wisdom on self-care, establishing boundaries, and finding freedom and soaring. Thank you to our social worker Anidra Ragin and school science teacher Ms. Blanding for bringing in Ms. Melanie Dees from the United Way Diamonds, Dr. Goldsmith, and Pastor Cheryl Beaufort for this special event.
Call Me Mister of South Carolina State University paid a visit to our schools today. Planning early and taking the courses at FE DuBose Career Center needed for success is key, particularly when it comes to those seeking a career in education. The purpose of the Call Me Mister program is to increase the pool of available teachers from diverse backgrounds by providing financial and academic support, mentors, leadership institutes, and professional development.
