We’re excited to share that through our GEAR UP program, we’re offering SAT/ACT support for students this Saturday from 9:00–11:00 a.m. Students will meet in Ms. Garth’s classroom.
What’s provided:
- Focused SAT/ACT practice and strategies
- Snacks for all participants
- Optional help with college applications and signing up for the SAT/ACT (upon request)
If your student plans to attend, please encourage them to bring a charged device and any questions they have about testing or college applications.

We’re excited to announce that this year’s Ed-Op College Fair will take place on Wednesday, September 24, 2025! 🎓
All juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to:
- Connect with local colleges and universities
- Apply and pre-apply for admission and scholarships
- Explore majors, programs, and campus life
- Learn about support services available to students
This event is a great way for our students to get a jump start on preparing for college. We can’t wait to see you there!

Scott’s Branch would like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Davion Petty, Director of Admissions and Recruitment at South Carolina State University, for visiting our seniors on Friday, August 29th.
Mr. Petty shared valuable information about the college admissions process, financial aid resources, campus life, athletics, and student organizations. He encouraged our seniors not only to get a head start on applying to SCSU as an option, but also to take the first steps in shaping their college journey and future success to begin applying to colleges and scholarships of their choice.
We look forward to hosting many more college sessions and continuing to support our Eagles as they prepare for their promising futures.

Mr. Bailey shared valuable information about CCTC’s wide range of programs, certifications, and academic opportunities, while also encouraging our students to take advantage of Dual Enrollment and explore the many career pathways available through CCTC.
We are proud of our students for representing the Eagle’s Nest with excellence—showing interest, asking questions, and gaining knowledge to help shape their future success.
