Middle school math teachers, SBMHS is hiring! Join us tomorrow, Saturday, March 14, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Clarendon County School District Hiring Event at F.E. DuBose Career Center.

Benchmark Assessments will be today, March 10th and Wednesday, March 11th.
The ASVAB will be administered to any 11th or 12th grade student who has not scored a 31 or higher.
Students please make sure to bring your school-issued device fully charged to school.
Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome back! We hope you had a restful and enjoyable Intercession Break. We are excited to return and finish the 3rd Quarter strong as we continue focusing on teaching, learning, and preparing for the upcoming testing season.
As a reminder, students are expected to follow the school dress code each day. Additionally, cellphones are not allowed during the instructional day. If phones are brought to school, they must be placed in the designated lockboxes during the school day.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to keep our focus on student learning and success. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
Please be reminded that our teachers have posted some review materials to help students prepare for the Benchmark Assessments which will be administered after intersession. Students are encouraged to check their teacher's google classrooms and utilize the materials shared with them to help them be successful on their upcoming Benchmark assessments.

Next week is CCSD's intersession break. We hope students and staff enjoy a well‑deserved break and spend time resting and connecting with loved ones. Parents, review materials are available in Google Classroom to help students prepare for the March 10 and 11 benchmark assessments. On Wednesday, February 25, our high school juniors and seniors took part in the inaugural SOBE (School of Business/School of Education) Day at Francis Marion University.
Throughout the event, students interested in business collaborated with FMU faculty on real-world projects and scenarios, while our aspiring educator students engaged in hands-on mini-lessons and explored innovative teaching strategies.
We would like to thank Francis Marion for their hospitality and this amazing event! We are looking forward to experiencing it again in the future for our next upcoming Eagle educators and business students.

On Wednesday, we celebrated Black History Month. Mrs. Mack, along with the SBHS Choir and dance students, delivered an outstanding performance. Thank you to all the families and community members who joined us. We also extend heartfelt appreciation to our guest speaker, Scott’s Branch Class of ’76 alumna, Attorney F. Renee Gaters. Mrs. Gaters, your inspiring words meant so much to our students.
