Good afternoon, Juniors and Seniors,
Ed-Op will be held tomorrow in our gym from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Seniors and Juniors, you will have the opportunity to meet with nearly 50 college representatives to discuss academic program offerings at their college or university. Please come neatly dressed, with no hats, durags, or sagging pants.
SC Educational Opportunity Programs (Ed-OP) are designed to give every prospective student in South Carolina the opportunity to attend an educational program.
The Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (CACRAO) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting postsecondary education through the professional development of its members.
CACRAO is pleased to announce its continued partnership with STRIVESCAN to bring its student barcode scanning technology to all of our North and South Carolina college fairs. StriveScan will make the experience more efficient and productive for students and colleges, plus provide CACRAO and the Ed-Op organizers with valuable data about the events.
Students, you must have your barcodes to enter. Please go to https://app.strivescan.com/students to register and receive your barcode.
Scott's Branch Student Council Members recently attended the South Carolina Association of Student Councils (SCASC) District 2 Rally at Waccamaw High School! We're proud of our students for actively engaging and representing our school.

🌟 Month of Attendance Activities! 🌟
Last month, Mrs. Dawn Johnson, SB Attendance Clerk, and Marjetta Butler, our District Social Worker, teamed up to engage students with activities and contests focused on the importance of attendance.
For the Social Work Department, students participated in an essay contest writing about how attendance impacts their education. Congratulations to our 4 winners (1st-3rd place & 1 grand prize winner) who each received a certificate, goody bag, and gift certificates! 🏆✍️
In the Attendance Department, students with perfect attendance each week were entered into a raffle to win gift cards and canteen vouchers. A special shoutout to our grand prize winner who achieved perfect attendance for the entire month! 🎉🎁
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this initiative a success! Let's continue to focus on attendance lending to student success!
