MAP testing and EOC assessments are coming up after the Thanksgiving Break. Parents we kindly ask that you remind students to bring their school-issued device fully charged with them to school each day. Students please make sure that you take some time over the break to review your ISN notes and progress learning study plans to prepare for your upcoming assessments. We know that our students will rise up and meet the expectations!

Theme: Showing support for their teachers
Grades 6-12:
- Activity Options:
Write a 500-word essay on "What I Would Do if I Were the School Principal" or Create an 8-stanza poem about "What I Like Best About My School"
*Students may collaborate to create. No more than two students per group.

Join us in celebrating as we recognize Lester Peterson, one of our amazing school bus drivers and Clarendon County School District’s October Transportation Champion! 🌟 Mr. Peterson goes the extra mile every single day - keeping our students safe, smiling, and ready to take on the day. Mr. Peterson's commitment and care make every ride a safe and positive start to our students’ day!
Friday afternoon students, teachers, and staff surprised Dr. Cummings with a special assembly to show our appreciation for all that he does as our principal at Scott's Branch Middle High School. Dr. Cummings thank you for your determination, encouragement, care, and focus!

🎓 Let's GEAR UP for College!
On Thursday, our Senior Class, on behalf of GEAR UP SC, had the incredible opportunity to visit Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina! 💛💙
Students learned about the rich HBCU history of Allen University, toured the campus with alumni and current students, explored several academic buildings, relaxed in the student center, and enjoyed a meal in the dining hall for a true taste of college life.
As a bonus, Allen was celebrating Homecoming Week, allowing our students to briefly experience the excitement and spirit of campus festivities!
We extend a heartfelt thank you to Allen University for being such gracious hosts and for inspiring our students to dream big about their college futures. We look forward to seeing many of our current and future Eagles soar into higher education — perhaps even at Allen University one day! Our Eagles are looking forward to their next college visit! 🦅🎓
🏀💙💛 Blue & Gold Madness Recap! 💙💛🏀
On Thursday, our Eagles Basketball Teams kicked off our Blue & Gold Madness event! Fans got an exciting preview of the season as our athletes hit the court for spirited scrimmage games against each other.
Our supporters also joined in on the fun with interactive basketball games, where they got a chance to win free food! A huge thank you also goes out to our cheerleaders for their incredible performances and for keeping both the crowd and our athletes energized all night long!
We truly appreciate everyone who came out to support our Eagles, and we can’t wait to see the stands packed all season long. Let’s keep that Blue & Gold spirit soaring! 🦅💙💛
🏅 1st Quarter Awards Ceremony Success! 🏅

To conclude Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Varsity Football Team and Cheerleaders painted the stadium PINK this past Friday as we wrapped up the regular season and celebrated Senior Night!
Our amazing senior athletes proudly walked the field with their loved ones to commemorate a job well done this sports season. We’re so proud of each of you for your dedication, teamwork, and leadership!
🎉 Congratulations to our team for another impressive victory over Military Magnet School, 46–0, finishing the regular season with a 7–2 record! What an incredible accomplishment!
💪 Join us this Friday, November 7, 2025, as we kick off the 1st Round of Playoffs against Hannah-Pamplico High School. Let’s fill the stands and show our Eagle pride!
