With more than a decade of experience in education, Mrs. Wilson brings deep expertise in instructional leadership, curriculum and instruction, special education, teacher development and school improvement.
She holds a B.A. in Child and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Care and Education from Columbia College, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Education in Special Education and an Educational Specialist Ed.S. degree in Principalship. Throughout her career, Mrs. Wilson has been a strong advocate for student achievement, educator empowerment and the cultivation of a positive school culture grounded in high expectations, collaboration and strong relationships.
Mrs. Wilson looks forward to partnering with Manning High School students, families, faculty, staff and the community to build on the school’s tradition of excellence and ensure every student is prepared for success.

Need to request a change to your high school schedule? Please review the information below before submitting your request.
📝 Important Reminders:
• Only ONE Schedule Change Request Form will be processed per student. Please include all requested changes on a single form.
• Requests will be reviewed against the current master schedule to determine course availability.
• Course changes will not be considered based on teacher, classmate, or class period preference.
• Submitting the form is a request only. While we will make every effort to accommodate requests, schedule changes are not guaranteed.
• You will receive notification via student and parent email indicating whether your request has been approved or denied, along with the reason for the decision.
• The deadline to submit schedule change requests is Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. No requests will be accepted after this deadline.
• All schedule change correspondence will be sent via student and parent email only. Please check your email regularly for updates.

With more than 30 years of distinguished service in education, Dr. Middleton brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and leadership to Eagle Nation. Throughout her remarkable career, she has served as an Assistant Principal for Instruction, Director of Student Support Services, Elementary and Middle School Principal, and educational leadership consultant. Her expertise in instructional leadership, school improvement, professional learning, and data-driven decision-making has positively impacted countless students, educators, and school communities across South Carolina.
This appointment marks a meaningful homecoming, as Dr. Middleton returns to the Summerton community where she began her teaching career. It is a full-circle moment that reflects her lifelong commitment to serving students and strengthening the community that helped launch her journey in education.

Summer Meal Giveaway — Final Pickup July 1 📅🍎
This week we distributed 1,206 meals to our families 🍽️🙏. Thank you to our Nutrition Staff for planning and coordinating this initiative 👩🍳👏.
Special thanks to Manning High School FFA and instructor 🌾, the Manning Police Department 🚓, the Manning High School football team 🏈, and our phenomenal district office staff for helping prep and distribute the meal boxes 🙌. With 17 years of dedicated service in education, Mrs. Moore has built a distinguished career centered on academic excellence, instructional leadership, and student success. Throughout her journey, she has remained committed to ensuring every student has access to high-quality learning experiences that prepare them for lifelong success.
Before her appointment as principal, Mrs. Moore served as a Reading Coach and most recently as the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Manning Early Childhood Center, where she worked collaboratively with teachers and staff to strengthen instructional practices, support student achievement, and cultivate a positive learning environment.
Mrs. Moore earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Coastal Carolina University and is widely recognized for her passion for teaching and learning. Her commitment to educational excellence earned her the distinguished honor of being named Clarendon County School District Teacher of the Year for the 2022–2023 school year.
Mrs. Moore believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and meaningful collaboration are the cornerstones of a successful school. She is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every student is empowered to reach their full potential and every family is valued as an essential partner in their child’s educational journey.

A proud native of Manning, South Carolina, and graduate of Manning High School, Dr. Goff has devoted her entire 29-year career in education to serving the students, families, and community that helped shape her. Her unwavering dedication to academic excellence and student success has made a lasting impact across our district.
Dr. Goff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, followed by a Master’s Degree in Divergent Learning and Educational Administration. She later completed both an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree and a Doctorate of Education, exemplifying her lifelong commitment to learning and educational leadership.
Her career began as an eighth-grade South Carolina History teacher at Manning Junior High School, where she inspired students for nine years. She later served as Curriculum Coordinator at Manning Elementary School for five years, Assistant Principal for six years, and most recently as Principal of Manning Elementary School for the past nine years. Throughout every role, Dr. Goff has championed instructional excellence, built strong relationships with students and families, and cultivated a culture of high expectations and achievement.
As she begins this new chapter as District Testing Coordinator, Dr. Goff brings a wealth of experience in curriculum, instruction, school leadership, and data-driven decision-making. Ms. Wells is an accomplished educational leader with more than 12 years of experience in public education. Her expertise in curriculum and instruction, literacy development, data-driven decision-making, and school improvement has made a lasting impact on students, educators, and school communities.
For several years, Ms. Wells has faithfully served our beloved district as the Reading Coach at Dr. Rose H. Wilder Elementary School, where she has worked alongside teachers to strengthen literacy instruction, support student achievement, and foster a culture of academic excellence. Her dedication to the success of both students and educators has made her an invaluable member of the Clarendon County School District family.
Throughout her career, Ms. Wells has also served as a Literacy Coach, Carolina CAP Coach, Testing Coordinator, Teacher Mentor, School Improvement Coordinator, and AVID Coordinator. She has successfully led instructional initiatives, facilitated professional learning, supported teachers through coaching, and used student achievement data to drive continuous school improvement.
Beginning her career as an elementary classroom teacher, Ms. Wells developed a deep understanding of effective teaching and learning that continues to shape her leadership today. She is committed to empowering educators, building positive relationships with students and families, and creating a culture where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

With more than a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, Read to Succeed Literacy Coach, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal of Instruction, and Assistant Principal, she brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the Eagle family.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Wells has championed high-quality instruction, supported teacher development, and implemented strategies that have strengthened student achievement. Her leadership extends beyond the school level through her service on district strategic planning and accreditation teams, as well as her work leading the district’s induction and mentoring program for new teachers.
Mrs. Wells earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Columbia College. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education degree, with research focused on collective leadership and teacher retention.

Dr. McCorkle brings over nine years of K–12 leadership experience, including roles as assistant principal and principal. He’s known for improving school performance, strengthening instructional practices, and supporting teachers through data-driven decision-making and effective evaluations.
Most recently he served as Assistant Principal in Williamsburg County (Kingstree, SC) and previously was Principal and Assistant Principal in Marion County. In Marion County he led school improvement efforts, raised ELA and Math scores, improved school ratings, managed budgets, and coached staff to higher instructional effectiveness. He was named Marion County School District Emerging Teacher of the Year for 2019–2020.

🌟 Congratulations to Kimberly O. Johnson on Her New Role as Director of the F.E. DuBose Career Center!! 🌟
We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Kimberly O. Johnson has been named Director of the F.E. DuBose Career Center for the 2026-2027 school year! Born and raised in Manning, SC, Ms. Johnson brings an extensive background in education, leadership, and community service to this important role.
A proud graduate of Manning High School Class of 1998, Ms. Johnson served in the military for nearly seven years before pursuing higher education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of South Carolina in 2006, followed by a Master’s in Social Work in 2010.
Ms. Johnson's professional journey includes a notable role as the Director of Marketing at the Bank of Clarendon, where she made significant strides in community engagement. Her commitment to leadership development is demonstrated through her education from Leadership Clarendon, Furman University’s Diversity Leaders Institute, the SC Bankers School, and the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management.
A dedicated community member, Ms. Johnson is actively involved in various organizations. She is a member of the historic Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and has served on boards such as the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce, the Clarendon School District Two Board of Trustees, and the SC School Boards Association. Additionally, she has been involved with the McLeod Clarendon Hospital Advisory Board and the United Way, among others.
In 2020, she made history as the first African American female elected to the S.C. House of Representatives (District 64), which encompasses Clarendon and Sumter Counties. Ms. Johnson has also achieved several educational certifications, including her Secondary Administration Certification through the South Carolina Department of Education, which demonstrates her strength, ability, and commitment to being a life-long learner.
Having served as the Assistant Director of the F.E. Dubose Career Center over the past four years, Ms. Johnson has been committed to fostering educational success and empowering students to achieve their career goals. She looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the lives of students and the community in her new role as Director.
