In partnership with the South Carolina School Nutrition Association, our district is excited to celebrate Big Thursday - a fun day promoting healthy eating, school pride, and teamwork! 🖤💛💙🩶
How to participate:
• Wear your favorite team colors: Orange & Purple for Clemson Tigers or Garnet & Black for Carolina Gamecocks.
• Eat lunch in the cafeteria: Healthy food = strong players!
• Win a prize: Everyone who eats and participates in lunch is entered for a chance to win!
Athletes power their bodies with healthy meals - and you can too! Load up on fruits, veggies, whole grains, milk, and protein to keep your brain and body in the game.

✅ Graduation Rates Soar! Our district graduation rate reached an impressive 92.8% in 2025, exceeding the state average! 🎓
✅ Academic Progress Across the Board! We're seeing fantastic gains in ELA and Math, with schools like MES and DRWES showing significant increases! WGES is also performing exceptionally well above state averages in ELA, Math, and Science! 📈
✅ Future Ready! A remarkable 81.6% of our students are now College OR Career Ready, a huge leap from 54.8% in 2023! Way to go, CCSD! 💪

Dr. Bryant recently led a dynamic session at the South Carolina Association of Title I Administrators (SCATA) Conference, alongside Alisha Ridgill, Assistant Principal of Instruction at SBMHS, Dr. Patricia Middleton, Assistant Principal of Instruction at ECMHS, and Felicia Moore, Assistant Principal of Instruction at MECC. They shared strategies for effective instructional interventions to support diverse learners. 📚✨ Dr. Johnson was there to applaud and support their efforts! 👏🎯
