‼️Attention Athletes and Parents‼️ Starting July 1st, every athlete must have a new physical on file in order to participate in athletics. Physicals must be dated after April 1st, 2026 to be valid. Please turn in all completed physical packets directly to Coach Cornelius or Mrs. Lindsey Timmons If you are unsure if your child needs a new physical, please reach out to their head coach, Coach Cornelius, or Mrs. Lindsey Timmons. **Physicals that were done at the school in April are good!

Last week, Sophie Brown, Caylen McKenzie, Cade Mooneyham, and Colton Baker had the distinguished opportunity to represent East Clarendon at South Carolina Girls State and Boys State, two of the state’s premier leadership and citizenship programs. Sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary and the American Legion, Girls State and Boys State are highly respected summer leadership experiences designed for outstanding high school students. Participants are selected through an application process based on their leadership potential, academic achievement, character, and commitment to service. During the week-long programs, students gain firsthand experience in the democratic process by forming mock governments, campaigning for office, participating in elections, debating public policy issues, and developing leadership skills through hands-on activities. The programs also provide opportunities to engage with state and local leaders, build lasting friendships with peers from across South Carolina, and deepen their understanding of civic responsibility. We are proud of these Wolverines for representing our school and community with excellence while expanding their leadership skills and knowledge of government and public service.

All students entering 7th grade for the 2026-2027 school year must show proof of a Tdap booster received on or after their 10th birthday.  Proof of Tdap booster is due BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL (AUGUST 3, 2026).  Schedule a well-visit or vaccination appointment now.
