We are excited to announce that 6th Grade will be traveling to WonderWorks Myrtle Beach, SC on November 19! 🎉

Permission slips will be coming home soon. Please return the signed permission slip along with payment.

Send cash or check with your student along with the signed permission slip.

An online payment form will also be available through Givebacks. You should receive an email with the payment information. Please check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it!

A signed permission slip is required regardless of the payment method.

🧬🔬 Organ System Project! 🫀🫁 Mrs. Hannah Wilder’s 6th grade science students have been hard at work learning about the human body! Students chose an organ system to draw, label, and explain, then creatively displayed their learning on a T-shirt or poster. 👕📋 Today, students presented their projects and confidently shared what they learned with their classmates. Their hard work, creativity, and confidence truly stood out! 👏 We are so proud of our hardworking 6th graders! 💙🧪 Great job, students! 🌟

Today author Gina Casazza spoke to our middle school students about what it means to belong. She spoke about being a good team member and being kind to yourself and others. The students viewed a video of her book You Really, Truly Do Belong and listened and Ms. Casazza told them about her experience of belonging when she trained with Navy Seals. Some of the students in media literacy spoke with the author after the assembly about their experience with her literacy curriculum, EmpowerLit. 🌮🚚 Math in Action with Mrs. Underwood’s Students! 📐📊 Mrs. Underwood’s students are putting their math skills to work as they design and develop their own food trucks! Students are demonstrating their understanding of ratios, rates, unit rates, equivalent ratios, proportional relationships, constant of proportionality, and proportional reasoning through a creative, real-world project. Who knew math could be this delicious? 🍔🍦📈

📚 Coach Carter’s students are learning through history! Today, we summarized the causes and effects of the French and Indian War and explored how the war and its aftermath helped lead to the start of the American Revolution. 🇺🇸📖 Connecting historical events helps students understand how one event can influence what happens next!

🙏🇺🇸 We had a great turnout this morning for See You at the Pole! We are so proud of our students who stepped up to speak and even lead us in prayer. We are thankful for this special opportunity for our students to come together, share their faith, and lift our school community in prayer. What a wonderful way to start the day! 💙🙏
