Today in the library, 6th grade students in Mrs. Brandi Baker’s 5th period class enjoyed a virtual visit with author Alan Gratz! He spoke to students about the books he has written and new books that are coming out in a couple of weeks. He also spoke about his writing process and inspirations behind the books he writes. His books are very popular in the ECMHS library. This was a live event that was attended by hundreds of other students around the world. He even answered one of our questions at the end. We asked, “What was your favorite book as a child?” His answer: Tuck Everlasting!
