To all of our Veterans:

With heartfelt gratitude, we honor you today and every day.❤️🤍💙
God bless our veterans, and God bless America.🇺🇸
To the members of the East Clarendon Student Council and Mrs. Jennifer Hunt: Thank you! A simple "thank you" almost doesn't cover it.

Congratulations to Mrs. Charlotte Driggers' on being selected as a Bright Ideas Grant recipient from Santee Electric Cooperative!!

Today in Yearbook, Mrs. Brianna’s class created a timeline of their lives that included a “high moment”, a “low moment”, and a “Significant event”. They wrote these down and placed them in order and shared aloud. This activity builds community and helps with interviewing skills and active listening.

Parents,
We are seeking nominations for parent representatives for the School Improvement Council (SIC). Nominees will be included on the ballot for the SIC election. The SIC is an advisory council to the principal that is focused on school improvement issues. It is made up of representatives of parents, teachers, and community members. The principal serves as an ex-officio member. The SIC meets at least monthly during the school year. ECMHS parent representatives are nominated and elected by their fellow ECMHS parents. Any parent/guardian of at least one child enrolled in MMS is eligible to place his/her own name or the name of another parent in nomination. Parent representatives are elected to a term of two years.
Submit nominations for the SIC parent representative through the link below by 9:00 am on Nov. 12th.

Last week in the library, we began our Reading Mentors program. Sixth graders were paired with high school students, and in the coming months, they will read and discuss novels and get to know each other. This week was a “getting-to-know-you” time and students played games and talked with their new partners. We are so thankful to our high school volunteers and we’re looking forward to more meetings of Reading Mentors!

Congratulations to our Varsity Football team on their first round of playoffs win on Friday!

Congratulations to our girls!!!

🏀 We are grateful to Unity on the Hardwood SC for their continued dedication and support of Clarendon County School District Athletics. 🏀
This generous contribution will directly assist the East Clarendon Middle/High School Boys and Girls Basketball Teams this season as our student athletes continue to shine both on and off the court.
