EC Chess Club were sharpening minds and building confidence at today's practice. We are proud of these strategic thinkers!

Classroom “fishbowl” discussions about the character that displayed the most courage in the short story “My Favorite Chaperone” by Jean Davies Okimoto. Students did a great job explaining their choices.

Mrs. Lachelle’s 7th grade ELA class worked on a debate to end their novel study on “Among the Hidden.” The students were divided into groups to argue in support of the Population Law and against the Population Law. Each group had lawyers and witnesses to support and argue their side.

Mrs. Sheri’s 6th grade class completed their ancient Egypt unit by creating a model of a pyramid or experimenting with mummification.

Mrs. Hannah’s 6th grade science class are working on a wave scavenger hunt where they find all 15 wave cards, draw the wave, count the crests and troughs, then measure the wavelength and amplitude!

Our OPT students working hard counting that canteen money. This is one life skill that they learn while also working the canteen.
