🧑🏽🍳👨🏼🍳The Cooking Matters sessions at the F.E. DuBose Career Center Culinary Arts Lab are off to a great start in Clarendon County. Last week, students learned to prepare a Northwest Apple Salad, 🍎and this week, it was Sweet Potato Fries. ⏲ Before hitting the kitchen, students are engaged in the classroom for nutritional chats in preparation for their hands-on skills. In each session, students are provided with the ingredients to prepare their meals at home. 🥘
Thank you to HopeHealth, SNAP-Ed, and the Cooking Matters Team for providing this excellent opportunity for CCSD students 👏🏼
