CCSD Parents and Guardians, This is a reminder that our Personal Electronic Device Guidelines will be fully enforced when students return to school on January 7, 2025. Key Guideline: All students (PK-12) must turn off and store all phones and personal electronic devices in the classroom cell phone cabinets from the start of school until dismissal. Student Responsibility: Students are solely responsible for the security of their devices brought to school. Consequences of Non-Compliance: Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action according to the Student Discipline Code of Conduct. The electronic version of the Code can be found https://5il.co/2w2wz. Please note that unauthorized electronic communication device use goes from a Level 1-G (page 19) to a Level II-B offense (page 22), depending on the situation. Another exciting day at our fall festival. Lots of games, food and fun!
During Mrs. Land's garden class garden today our young gardeners learned about cotton. They felt the seeds in cotton and discussed that our clothes are made from cotton. We also learned all about sweet potatoes and Mrs. Karen Kay Hilton-Sanders read the best book about sweet potato pie! We dug a sweet potato and 🍠 our kids are bringing it home! They are better if they sit a week before you eat them - so next week they will be ready to eat!. Our classes helped Bitsy Land dress the scarecrows to keep the deer away!!🦌🦌
