Jorde Farmer, Clarendon Health Educator Learning Institute Snap - Ed at the Clemson University, comes to MECC to help our students with nutrition education and physical activity initiatives to help kickstart their journey towards a happier and healthier lifestyle. She worked with Mrs. Jones' & Mrs. McCabe's students with team relay races and taught them to check their pulse while taking a break.

Mrs. Land, MHS FFA Students, and the gardening team had a "bubbly" day with students, harvesting the garden and planting gourds.

Ms. Hilton's and Mrs. Ellison's class utilized the end of last week to review and solidify previously learned material, as well as gain new knowledge.

👑MECC's Prince and Princess Ball was Saturday afternoon. What a fun dance & dinner for our students, their chaperones, and our school staff. 👑
Special thanks to the team Kimberly Hilton-Lawson, Kaykay Brock and Lauren, Anjiy Hilton and Jayden on the set up and serving, Shevonne Mels B-Mc and Kevin McCrimmon for the beautiful decorations and hyping the crowd, Waring Dee Dingle for his DJing skils, Kimberly L Quzack on the photography. Marsha Dozier-Evans for the linens and MECC cafeteria for cooking the food! A wonderful time was had by all!

During Garden class, our Montessori students learned about protecting the environment from pollution. Earth Day was discussed and they did an experiment. Ask your child about it! They observed the class garden/flower bed which is really growing.
