Congratulations to the Pride of I-95! On Saturday Oct. 14th the Golden Pride traveled to Fayetteville, NC to compete in the Gotham City Invitational at E.E. Smith High School. With 8 bands in their category they received

2nd Place Overall in class 2A

Thank you to the SC Department of Education for the new drone that our students will learn to use in Pre-Engineering and Computer Science courses. Ms. Tracy Brown and her students directed their drone on its course.





The last day of school before Fall break was a full day! There were food trucks, Black and Gold Day, and Chalk the Walk before the Pep Rally.







At the beginning of the MHS pep rally, there was a Bulldog (Georgetown High) "funeral."





Our Mascot will have a NEW costume starting Homecoming Evening. Our crowd is enjoying our talented cheerleaders during the Pep Rally.








Competition at the Pep Rally between the Junior and Seniors classes was major! The winner is the Senior Class!

Today is Custodians' Day! We appreciate all you do for us!








Intersession is a time for students and staff to relax and reset. We encourage our students to continue reading over the break and participate in brain break exercises, including stretches 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏽, physical activity 🚴🏼♀️, and journaling📔. Intersession begins on Wednesday, 10/4. Students return on Monday, 10/9.

Our Manning Monarchs had a long travel to Aynor and returned with the win 28-24!

The Monarch Tennis Team had a great match against district rival East Clarendon. 🎾







MHS' "See you at the Pole" is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led early morning event to lift up their friends, families, school, communities, and nation in prayer.






The Golden Pride had a wonderful weekend! They supported Scott’s Branch at their away game, and helped Lee Central High School celebrate their Homecoming! Thank you to the Lee Central and their band director Joshua Jefferson for providing our students with dinner and a wonderful family-like atmosphere! The Golden Pride performed several pieces together with the Lee Central Marching Stallion band!
