A great community effort! 📚👏

The Summerton Rotary Club recently presented dictionaries to all 3rd grade students at Dr. Rose H. Wilder Elementary School, helping encourage literacy and learning. Providing dictionaries at this age gives students a valuable tool to build vocabulary, improve reading skills, and develop confidence in writing.

😁🦷 Healthy Smiles at Dr. Rose H. Wilder Elementary!

Students at Dr. Rose H. Wilder Elementary School had a wonderful time enjoying a special presentation from the South Carolina Oral Health Action Network! ✨

Through the fun and engaging show “Flora and Floppy Go to the Dentist,” our students laughed, learned, and discovered the importance of taking care of their teeth. The presentation highlighted healthy habits such as brushing, flossing, and visiting the dentist regularly to keep those bright smiles shining!

A special thank you to John Scollon with the Columbia Marionette Theatre and Mary Kimball Osborn, Miss Palmetto 2026, for bringing this fantastic and educational performance to our students. 👏🎭

We appreciate your efforts in helping our students learn how to keep their smiles healthy and strong! 😄✨
