CCSD Parents and Guardians, This is a reminder that our Personal Electronic Device Guidelines will be fully enforced when students return to school on January 7, 2025. These guidelines are in place to create the best possible learning and social environment for all students. Key Guideline: All students (PK-12) must turn off and store all phones and personal electronic devices in the classroom cell phone cabinets from the start of school until dismissal. Student Responsibility: Students are solely responsible for the security of their devices brought to school. Consequences of Non-Compliance: Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action according to the Student Discipline Code of Conduct. The electronic version of the Code can be found https://5il.co/2w2wz. Please note that unauthorized electronic communication device use goes from a Level 1-G (page 19) to a Level II-B offense (page 22), depending on the situation. Please review these guidelines with your students to ensure they are prepared for the start of the new semester. For more FAQs, please visit https://5il.co/33gec. Thank you for your cooperation.

📢 Important Update: “Phones Off, Focus On” Policy 📢
Happy 2025, Eagle Families! 🦅
Starting January 7th, students will place their phones in secure classroom phone cabinets in their last-period class each day. Teachers will lock these cabinets to ensure devices are safely stored, helping everyone stay focused on learning.
At the end of the day, students will retrieve their phones (at the end of instruction) during last-period class.
Medical Exceptions: Students with medical needs (e.g., diabetes) may keep their phones for medical purposes only with a doctor’s note on file in the front office.
Thank you for your support in creating a focused and distraction-free learning environment! If you have any questions, feel free to contact the school office.
Let’s make this a great year of learning! 🎓✨
