There is a Washington, DC parent information meeting schedule for Tuesday, August 19th at 6:00 PM in the WGE cafeteria for all rising 5th grade parents. You do not need to attend if you went to the information meeting in May.
If your child is a car rider in the afternoons and you do not have a car tag, either let your child's teacher know or email Beth Watts (elizabeth.watts@clarendoncsd.org). Please include your child's name and homeroom teacher in the email.
ECMHS Mini Cheer Camp
Mrs. Deane and Mrs. Shari’s students kicked off the year with a cozy (and creative!) start! After reading Memory Jars by Vera Brosgol, they gathered “around the campfire” for some s’more narrative writing fun. 🪵🔥 Students shared their favorite memories, turning them into sweet stories—just like the s’mores they enjoyed! 🍫📖🐾

Parent Portal is now open for WGE students and parents. Your account from last year should still be active. If you are new to WGE and need account information, please contact your child's teacher. Parents can use this platform to view attendance and grades.
Afternoon Dismissal Update: Please form one line in the driveway prior to dismissal beginning. The entrance to the parking lot is being blocked and this must remain clear until dismissal officially begins. The line will not split into two separate lines until you pass the entrance of the parking lot. If you do not have student car rider tags, please let your child's teacher know. Remain parked until a teacher directs you to move forward after your child has been loaded. This is for the safety of students and employees.

The old and new WGE school buildings do not have internet. Our front office staff and guidance counselor will work from the ECMHS media center tomorrow. If you need to drop off documents, please visit the ECMHS media center beginning at 9:00.
Today is the last day of student registration. Returning students must provide an updated proof of residence (light/water bill, tax notice, mortgage, lease/rental agreement) and an updated copy of a guardian's ID. You may email these documents to monika.whack@clarendoncsd.org.
