📚✅ Clarendon County School District held an engaging Attendance and Truancy Session for staff who support attendance and PowerSchool at our schools!

Mrs. Player, our District Truancy Officer, shared important updates on truancy protocols and best practices. Ms. Kyndra Johnson, Social Work Coordinator, spoke on how our social work team provides attendance interventions and wraparound support for students and families. She also presented on the importance of collaboration between social work and school operations, while Ms. Ollie Canty of our District Powerschool Team provided essential PowerSchool updates to enhance data accuracy and reporting.

Together, we are strengthening our systems to ensure every student is seen, supported, and present. 💪🏽👩🏽‍🏫👨🏾‍🏫

🚨Exciting New Programs at F.E. DuBose Career Center! 🚀

We are thrilled to announce the launch of several new Career and Technical Education pathways designed to prepare our students for future success. Beginning this fall, we will introduce the Media Technology program, which will expose students to journalism and multimedia disciplines. Students will get hands-on experience working in our CCSD studio, gaining real-world skills in video production, editing, broadcasting, and journalism. 🎥🎙️📝

Additionally, in the spring semester, we will offer Emergency Medical Services (EMS/EMT), Firefighting, and our new AI Pathway, covering Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. 💻🚑🔥 These innovative programs will give students the skills needed in high-demand, emerging fields.
