✅ Graduation Rates Soar! Our district graduation rate reached an impressive 92.8% in 2025, exceeding the state average! 🎓
✅ Academic Progress Across the Board! We're seeing fantastic gains in ELA and Math, with schools like MES and DRWES showing significant increases! WGES is also performing exceptionally well above state averages in ELA, Math, and Science! 📈
✅ Future Ready! A remarkable 81.6% of our students are now College OR Career Ready, a huge leap from 54.8% in 2023! Way to go, CCSD! 💪

🌟 November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month 🌟
In Clarendon County School District, we stand united in supporting students and families facing housing insecurity. Through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, we work to ensure every child and youth has access to a free and appropriate public education - no matter their living situation.
Students who are staying in shelters, motels, or temporarily with friends or family because of loss of housing or hardship may qualify for additional support and resources through the McKinney-Vento Program.
If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness, please reach out to our district’s McKinney-Vento Liaison, Dr. Dean Bryant, at

Clarendon County First Steps’ Parents as Teachers (PAT) program has officially been awarded Blue Ribbon Status by Parents as Teachers National! 🏅
As many of you know, PAT is one of our key school readiness programs implemented through our strong partnership between Clarendon County School District and Clarendon County First Steps. Together, we are helping parents become their child’s first and best teacher! 👨👩👧👦✨
Through PAT, families receive support by:
📘 Increasing parent knowledge of early childhood development
🧸 Providing early detection of developmental delays and linking families to services

At each of our schools we’ve lined up daily spirit activities and you’re invited to join in, wear the red, show your pride, and take the pledge.
📊 Did you know: More than 80% of teens say they haven’t used alcohol, marijuana, cigarettes, or e-cigarettes in the past month (AP News). This means the vast majority of our students are already making smart choices , let’s celebrate that and keep it going!
