The gathering was filled with joy and learning as families enjoyed songs, played with musical instruments, and participated in engaging sensory activities. Our dedicated parents even took the time to read aloud to the children, fostering a love for reading and language!

A very special guest, Santa, also stopped by to interact with the children and parents, making the day even more memorable! 🎅❤️

📚✨ American Education Week Essay Contest Winner! ✨📚 CCSD is excited to announce that Mason Lee Williams has been selected as our American Education Week Student Contest Winner for the Grades 6–12 category! 🎉✍️ This year’s contest, invited students to write a 500-word essay on one of the featured topics - including “What I Would Do if I Were the School Principal.” Mason’s outstanding essay rose above the rest, showcasing his creativity, leadership, and thoughtful perspective. How can you make the most of this special month? Here are some ideas:

1. Explore New Genres: Try reading a type of book you don’t normally pick up. You might discover a new favorite!

Families had the chance to learn firsthand about the strategies, duties, and training that are essential to being a firefighter.
