🌍🔐 Escape Room Challenge in World Geography! 🔐🌍 Coach Carter’s 7th Grade World Geography class is putting their critical thinking skills to the test! 🧠✨ This week, students are diving into an interactive “Escape Room” activity while analyzing informational text about illegal poaching in Africa. Working collaboratively, they’re solving clues, interpreting real-world data, and uncovering the impact poaching has on wildlife, ecosystems, and communities. From understanding why animals like elephants and rhinos are targeted to exploring conservation efforts across the continent, our students are becoming informed global citizens—one puzzle at a time! 🐘🦏🌿 We love seeing their teamwork, problem-solving, and engagement come to life in such a meaningful way. Way to go, 7th grade! 👏🌎

High school students came to the library this week for blackout poetry. They enjoyed creating their own poems out of original works. Using what they understand about emotion in literature, students were able to flip love songs into horror and the horror of Poe into romance.
