In Mrs. Hannah’s 6th grade science class students worked on a cut and paste activity learning about the organization of the human body. (Cells-tissue-organs-organs systems) They also wrote about how the human body is a system of interacting subsystems.
In social studies they learned about the achievements of ancient Mesopotamia then reflected on the impact this ancient civilization still has on the world today by drawing and writing about what we still use today!!
Today, Ms. Deon Jones' English IV classes were engaged in our escape room activity while they worked collaboratively to decode messages based on texts we have studied in our Medieval literature unit. This was an activity to help them prepare for an upcoming test.

Students in Mrs. Carly’s US History & Civics classes have completed a deep dive of the Constitution. To celebrate, students participated in a “cookie election” to model the electoral college process. They enjoyed their cookies while they reviewed the law-making process & completed journal entries on the Whiskey Rebellion.
Mrs Gross and Mrs Ellen’s geometry classes had fun learning how to use a compass through a hands-on activity before diving into their geometry constructions!
