Senior Awards 🏆was an exciting moment for all MHS seniors and it was super special to see so many of our students receiving awards and scholarships, one even receiving the prestigious Monarch Award 🦁. Many of our CTE Completers are top of the class🎓🙌🏼

This week we celebrated 🎉the pathway completion 🎓of 151 Career and Technical Education students in Clarendon County School District. This is no small feat, this is HUGE‼️ Thank you to our instructors across the district who ensured that all students were credentialed with OSHA-10 and the specific pathway credentials which included EmployAbility Soft Skills, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Licensure 🩺, State Board Cosmetology Licensure💇🏽‍♀️, ASE 🚙, NCCER 👨‍🔧, Adobe 💻, ServSafe 🧑🏽‍🍳, and many more! We even had our first class of General Management 📈 and Web and Digital Communications 👾completers! A special thank you to Dr. Eleanor Glover-Gladney and Kevin Little from the SCDE CTE Division for taking the time out to share in our excitement 🙏🏼 Dr. Sharmane Anderson, your words to our students were amazing! Thank you for your support and assistance in allowing our students work-based learning opportunities throughout this school year 🙏🏼. 🌟Clarendon to Benedict College Gateway Tour 🌟 🎓 Big day in CCSD! 🎉 We were honored to host Benedict College President, Dr. Roslyn Clark Artis, and their admissions team today at F.E. DuBose Career Center! They brought loads of info about amazing programs and opportunities at Benedict. 🌟 Our students from all CCSD high schools were buzzing with excitement as they learned about all the possibilities. And to top it off, the Marching Band of Distinction gave us an electrifying performance that got everyone pumped up! 🎺🔥 It was a day filled with inspiration and energy. Our first CSI Youth Academy 🕵🏼 is in the books. 👏🏼 We are so grateful to our local law enforcement agencies for the time they spent over the last three days engaging the students of Clarendon County. 🌟We also appreciate the organization and expertise of our Law Enforcement instructor Mrs. Ladell Grice. We hope to present community events such as this to showcase all of our programs, so be on the lookout. 👀
