🚨In observance of the MLK Holiday, all CCSD schools will be closed on Monday, January 15th.

🙌🏼Students are creating thaumatropes! The thaumatrope is a simple yet ingenious toy that demonstrates the persistence of vision. By combining two images on opposite sides of a spinning disk, students can witness the illusion of the two images merging.
This hands-on activity helps students understand how our eyes and brains work together to create the illusion of motion, laying the foundation for further exploration into the world of animation.

Students created a clay model to represent themselves and then showcased it to someone in the class by explaining the elements they chose and why. This exercise was to assist in building relationships and laying the foundation for future collaboration.
