🎉Exciting News from Our Welding Program! 🎉🧑🏼‍🏭 👨‍🏭 Our Welding Work-Based Learning (WBL) students are thriving at Central Carolina Technical College as they gain hands-on experience—and the highlight of their journey? They’ve earned their American Welding Society (AWS) Certification while on site! But that’s not all…😁 👨🏽‍🏭 We’re thrilled to announce that 10 FEDCC students earned their AWS Certification right here in our very own welding lab! This marks the first year our students have had the chance to achieve this high-level industry certification—on top of already earning OSHA-10 and NCCER credentials! 🩺Our Health Science Clinical Studies students engaged in a full day of hands-on learning at the McLeod Sims Lab! With the guidance of their dedicated instructors, students were able to apply classroom knowledge to real-life medical simulations making for an unforgettable experience that deepened their skills and confidence. Our students began Child Abuse Prevention Month by learning about the importance of this initiative with Social Work Coordinator Kyndra Johnson.
