Mrs. Shannon Spann, BSN, RN, our Health Science Instructor, is attending the annual State Leadership HOSA Conference in Charleston along with student officers Hana Scammell and Linda Strickland.
HOSA is a student-led organization that encourages and prepares future leaders in the healthcare field. Through this organization, students gain valuable opportunities to explore a wide range of healthcare careers while developing leadership, teamwork, and professional skills that support the delivery of quality healthcare.
During the conference, HOSA President Hana Scammell and Secretary Linda Strickland are competing in events that highlight their leadership abilities and healthcare knowledge.

Even more exciting, Mr. Cooper was trained and certified at Central Carolina Technical College, which further strengthens our partnership and expands opportunities for our students through dual enrollment in welding. 🎓🤝

Today in our Law Enforcement program, students stepped into the role of crime scene investigators as they practiced fingerprinting techniques 🕵🏽♂️.
Using everyday classroom items, students learned how to properly dust, lift, and preserve prints while applying the same detailed procedures used in real-world investigations.
