District Job Shadowing Day will take place on February 16, 2024. We always encourage our students to participate in this engaging experience, which allows them to explore career interests. Students may pick up a packet from their guidance counselor, or you may find it here. 🔗https://5il.co/2d2pw
🗣 All packets must be completed to be marked present and receive work-based learning time for the day.

Yesterday we had another great day in the garden. We talked about composting. Mrs. Land let us try pomegranates. We put our class' compost in the recycling bin outside. We checked on our beds and planted an Eastern redbud tree. The last thing we did was measure our Amaryllis which we planted last Fall.

Mrs. Joyner's & Mrs. Robinson's students picked their class “Cauliflower “that was planted in the Spring!! They also learned about “Compost” & listened to the story “Compost Stew.” They also got a chance to taste test fresh spinach!! Yummy yummy in their tummies!! A wonderful garden time with Mrs. Marie Land, Mrs. Amy Land and Catherine!!

We celebrated “100” days of school!! Our children brought in their awesome projects!! You rock kiddos!

Garden Days are so much fun! We enjoyed hot cocoa and cookies with Mrs. Land, Amy Land & Katherine. We played charades, observed our garden beds for evidence of caterpillars, then discussed annual and perennial plants.
