Our 1st grade students' Black History Program shared Joy, Peace & Love. They shared many inventions by African American men and women, including the refrigerator, lawn mower, light bulbs and many other products we use daily.

Mrs. Marie Land, Mrs. Amy Land, Bitsy Land and their Master Gardeners' Team created waxed camellias with our students to give to the ones they love, then they harvested brussel sprouts and broccoli.

Our MHS FFA team, Miles Farmer, '23-'24 FFA President and Corey Elliot, FFA Member were helping get the MECC garden ready for Spring.

Mrs. Marie Land, Mrs. Amy Land and Ms. Gene celebrated and taught all about Mardi Gras with our students. Whoever finds the baby in the King cake becomes the Queen or King. The traditional colors of Mardi Gras are purple, green, and gold which all have a meaning
