🪴Garden time:👩🏼‍🌾 We learned about bulb plants, had a fantastic read aloud, and planted onions and potatoes with the eye to the sky.
We celebrated Dr. Seuss who wrote and illustrated 47 books in his lifetime. Those books were translated into twenty languages. Today was hat day and Dr. Seuss surprised the students and came to read "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back." đź“š

Our 1st grade students' Black History Program shared Joy, Peace & Love. They shared many inventions by African American men and women, including the refrigerator, lawn mower, light bulbs and many other products we use daily.
Mrs. Marie Land, Mrs. Amy Land, Bitsy Land and their Master Gardeners' Team created waxed camellias with our students to give to the ones they love, then they harvested brussel sprouts and broccoli.
